NJ Postal Worker Caught Walking Around Disney World After Claiming $156K In Disability

A U.S. Postal Service mail carrier raked in more than $156,000 in disability benefits payments after claiming she severely hurt her ankle delivering mail packages. The Oak Ridge, New Jersey woman claimed disability and falsified several claims saying she hadn’t “worked or had outside employment for extended periods of time” since her initial filing in September 2020, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey. In December 2022 federal investigators, tracked her to Disney World where she was observed walking around the park for more than 3 hours without the aid of a cane or any other mobility assistance devices. She faces up to 5 years in prison and $250,000 in fines.
