A 62-year-old Michigan woman was arrested and charged with retail fraud after she shoplifted $730 in merchandise from a Walmart in Genoa Township. This took place during a ‘Shop With A Cop’ charity event in the Walmart location where about 75 police officers were with children helping them get Christmas gifts. The woman gathered groceries, clothes, and some other items, ran through the self-checkout, and was found by a Michigan State Trooper in the Walmart parking lot loading her car with the goods. Her vehicle was parked to another police cruiser.
