Roxanne Doucette, 64, was arrested by Townsend police and charged with attempted murder, intimidation of a witness, juror, police or court official, resisting arrest, and assault and battery on a police officer, after what appeared to be a scam led her to poison her husband. She was contacted by a person impersonating Thorsten Kaye, known for his roles on All My Children and The Bold And The Beautiful, sweet talking Doucette, telling her that she needed to get rid of her husband and that he needed her. Doucette’s husband fell ill almost immediately after she gave him some soup in which she told the impersonator that she had added a “special potion”. Doucette denies poisoning her spouse.
