Irvin Alexis Gerardo,19, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after an altercation led to him shooting a 40-year-old man in Northeast El Paso. The man was walking to a bar around 1:15am when he saw a woman and asked her if she wanted to come drink with him, the woman declined and the man continued on his way to the bar. The woman explained to Gerardo what happened, shortly after Gerardo walked up to the man and drew a gun. A scuffle ensued where the man pepper sprayed Gerardo as the two men began fighting for the gun. The victim managed to disarm Gerardo, but he had already been shot.
